Working with and for the Land...
This property has been under Robert's care for the last few years, but it is a forever project. It has been very exciting to share it with others as we continue to cultivate it, so that others can experience the space as we do. A lot of the property's character speaks for itself, but where possible, it has been our privilege to amplify and add to its specialness. Part of this is our commitment to land protection and stewardship. Wherever possible aim to be as ecologically responsible and sustainable as we can.

Robert undertook a giant landscaping and gardening project last year and we thrilled to see it come to fruition. There are over 60 species of flowers between what he planted, and what is returning naturally to the land.

This year, the addition of herbs, vegetables, and fruit trees were our priority. This encourages a biodiverse ecosystem that benefits the land, and those who occupy it. The wildlife and pollinators have been happy! We ask that visitors treat any animals and critters you see around with love and respect. It is their land as much as it is ours.

With help from our friends, and those who have become friends; those thoughtful enough to lend their time, knowledge, and wisdom, we have been able to continue to move toward our mission. We hope to always learn and grow, with the land, and offer back what we have gained.

Our environmental consciousness extends beyond planting and rooting. It also informs how we interact and co-create with the land--to tend to, but also protect and enliven life. We like to add a little music and levity to our days.

This is just to say, the land is very sacred to us. It is an everyday practice to steward and protect it. We are grateful.
