Robert's vision for the Hideaway Hollow extended well before acquiring the property. Seeking a place that was unique, secluded, and surrounded by natural beauty, he knew that when he found the Mill, it felt special. He has dedicated a lot of time and energy into restoring the character that is already here, and adding his own style and spirit to it. Originally from Boston, and living in New York for the last 15 years, Robert felt called to move upstate full-time and add the Mill to the myriad of full-time passions he devotes himself to. A musician, actor, and artist, the Hideaway has served as a great place of inspiration, production, and quiet reflection. Working on revitalizing the land, it soon became the place he wanted to be most; and ultimately made the decision to be here full-time, to create and share in something beautiful. The Hideaway Hollow would not exist without Robert's heart, dedication, and intentional vision.
